Well while I have some time I thought I would quickly write a blog about my trip to Christchruch, New Zealand.
I was running tight on time, as I had been in the city for Orientation for Uni - I got home about 5pm giving me only an hour to get the rest of my bags packed. It was raining when I got in the car to leave but had to make a trip back home because shock horror I left Eddie Bear behind!! He was not impressed with that as it was his first time on a plane....and he's still holding it against me not taking him to Blenheim let alone Taupo and Feilding...
So it was rushing to the airport, checked in then went to my gate
gave my car keys to my mum hugged and kissed her goodbye and went through the gates - of course I had the gates beeping as I walked through - I forgot to remove my belt I always forget to do that. Then it was off to the boarding gate for my plane - which was 10-20 mins late for boarding...I had a pregnant lady checking my tickets as i went on board who said Eddie was soooo cute! I said he doesnt have a ticket - she said that was ok and that he will have his own seat. Which he did on that flight.

The flight into Wellington was delayed due to leaving Auckland late - so therefore it was late into Christchurch. My friend Anne and her husband John picked me up from the Airport - I was so tired. We sat down and had hot chocolate and Anne presented to me with a birthday present - I so wasnt expecting that she has sent me a card in the mail with a magnet for her cats she breeds. But what I got I love! Its a seahorse wind chime. There was also a present there from her son Robert. He had asked me previously what gemstone I liked and I told him. Then he told me he got me a present. But she wouldnt give it to me wanted him to give it. After talking right into the night until 1am and looking through each others scrapbooks we retired to bed.

I was to go for a Helicopter ride the next day, but that didnt happened...I waddled out into the dinning room where Anne said I could open the present from Robert - he got me an Amythyst Gemstone Pendant...its very pretty....its on a waxed cord so I have to wear that wax layer off so it the knots dont keep coming undone! Anne did a bit of cuttlebugging but gave up on the tiny things she was working with. Having watched her fiddling with this die - I would be more than happy to help make her the things she was trying to make. I was just so tired from all the early morning starts I went back to bed and had a nana nap and woke up about 4pm - I spent half my first day there sleeping! Lol. Anne
was making dinner when I woke up and then two of her sons - Robert and David came home from milking...I spent the night watching Sincity on DVD in Rob's room - lol how many times have I seen this movie now?? I mean Ive seen the whole thing now - with out falling alseep or missing the start or doing something else that I wont say lol - I watched the whole movie...though I still dont fully get the movie its still one of my faves to watch.

Friday was spent going to Lyttleton - I was going to find my ex but my attemps failed - for the first time in my life I got travel sick, all I wanted to do was stop....I wanted off the summit we were driving up...I wanted off the bendy country roads...I wanted so much to say OK IM GOING TO BE SICK I THINK!! Thankfully we stoped at a cafe and had a hot chocolate - my travel sickness went away a bit after that...We almost had an accident I was texting Robert at the time and my text ended up with OMG WE ALMO
ST DIED!! Lol - basically the back wheel slipped on the icy road and in a quick move and with good breaks i guess we missed the sign on the bend we were on and stayed on the roa - I said ok I dont want to go to Work tomorrow but I do want to go to Uni!...from here we stopped in Lincoln and had something to eat at another cafe - this is why i dont go out because i never know what to eat Im fussy as anything Im a big consure with my hot chocolates and meals (working in the industry does that to you) - so out comes my breakie on a small plate with a dry cold yucky hashbornw which I couldnt be bothered making a big show and dance about it so covered it in salt and pepper and tomato sauce and ate the yuckyness before getting into my bacon and eggs...

Rob and his dad and I spent the night watching the Kickboxing - not something I like but it was fun making out own commentations on what the boxers were saying...based upon what they were wearing and how they were boxing it was a big laugh....I then went and joined Rob in his room to watch DVDs again - Shaun of the Dead along with Jay and Silent Bob - I wa

So that is my trip in a nut shell!
